What Makes Them Despicable	Mocking Robotboy's pleas that he doesn't want to fight him. Hurting Tommy with his shirt. Attempting to destroy a big cruise ship, which would have killed Tommy and his parents. Attempting to manipulate Robotboy and Robotgirl into getting captured so he could kill them and Moshimo.
"Love to hate" factors	He only turned evil due to having been reprogrammed by Dr. Kamikazi. He might've cared for his "dear". His normal and superactivated modes have a cool desgin.

Protoboy is a major antagonist from Robotboy. He was one of Professor Moshimo's first creations, who was kidnapped and reprogrammed evil by his rival Dr. Kamikazi, albeit too evil for Kamikazi to control, causing him to go on a rampage, leading to him being shut down. He was later reactivated by Robotboy years later, causing his murderous rampage to continue.

He was voiced by Lewis MacLeod, who was uncredited for playing The Entity in Mr. Hopp's Playhouse 3.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?

• He attempted to attack a school bus filled with children.
• His heinous nature is most apparent in his second appearance in "The Revenge of Protoboy".
• He threw a cruise ship (which included Tommy's parents) at Robotboy, Tommy and Gus.
• He mocked Robotboy's pleas for them to not fight, saying he'd be easy to destroy.
• He taunted Robotboy for refusing to fight him and hiding so he wouldn't attack the cruise ship, so to get him to fight, he went and grabbed Tommy from under the ship, causing it to start sinking.
• He took sadistic pleasure in showing off him with Tommy, with the implication he was choking him using his shirt. And when Robotboy demanded him to leave Tommy alone, he dropped him, trying to make him choose between saving Tommy or the boat.
• When he believed he killed Robotboy, he tried to destroy the ship, commenting on how he would have liked to have Robotboy around to see him kill everyone.
• Those two actions were so vile, a disgusted Robotboy dropped any respect or love he had for his brother, and violently killed him.
• Unlike many other Robotboy villains, he is protrayed very seriously and is arguably the villain the characters show the most hatred towards.
