~ Psychopath To the Protagonist if you lose to him. |
The Psychopath is the main antagonist of the game "Psychopath Test". He is a serial killer who kidnaps with the intention of using them as test subjects for his experiment.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink[]
- Prior to the events of the game, he killed a ton of people, including the previous victim before the player, using his robots on them to beat them to death.
- He escaped from prison after being convicted of murder and continued to rampage through the city to kidnap and kill people.
- The game also mentions that he is a known serial killer, indicating that the people of the town know and fear him, especially considering that when it was learned that he had escaped, everyone locked themselves in their homes to keep themselves safe from him.
- When the protagonist ordered a pizza, the Psychopath came to his apartment, pretending to be a pizza delivery man, and demanded that the door be opened for him in a threatening manner.
- When the protagonist refused to open the door for him, he broke him down and took it to his lair.
- Before the protagonist woke up, the Psychopath tortured the protagonist, inflicting severe wounds on him.
- If the player fails to open the door and escape in time, the Psychopath will bring the scraps to the protagonist, saying that it is "Dad's favorite recipe", and force him to eat it all.
- When the protagonist opened a secret door through which he thought he could escape, the Psychopath caught up with him and damaged his spine, causing the protagonist to pass out while the Psychopath mockingly waved his hand.
- He threw the protagonist down into his deep laboratory where he developed robots, planning to use him like one.
- In the end, he is not caught by the police, which means he is still at large, and while there is some suggestion that he could have been killed by one of his robots when he decided to check on the protagonist, this hint remains extremely vague, meaning that he is Karma Houdini.
- Although the Psychopath had a tragic backstory where his father went insane from developing his creation, causing him to only care about himself and not care about his son, causing the latter to fall into despair and frustration, this tragedy is no longer genuine, as his further murders are not motivated by anything, as he already took revenge on his father in the past by throwing him out of a window, and his subsequent murders cannot have a Freudian justification. Although he does say the phrase "dad's favorite recipe" at one point, this is simply the Psychopath mocking the protagonist/player, trying to press on false pity, forcing them to eat scraps, while he sadistically watches the protagonist do it (and not only him, but others did it too).
- Which, ironically, makes the Psychopath even worse than his father, who is considered the formal antagonist, since the latter never harmed anyone and was obsessed only with his goal and nothing else, while his son kidnaps and kills people for no reason and his tragedy, again, does not fit into the Freudian justification for all this.
- Ultimately, he has no redeeming, comedic, or likable qualities and is presented as an absolutely vile and cruel villain in the game, so much so that the other villains simply pale in comparison due to them not being as bad as him, including his father.
