~ Queen Haven to Lincoln. |
Crown Heaven (aka Queen Haven) is one of the main antagonists of the Reaperverse of My Little Pony: A New Generation.
She is the mother of Zipp Storm and Pipp Petals, who overthrew the Guardians of Harmony from their throne more than a hundred years ago thanks to the help of Offengun and the Pale Slayer, sowed discord in Equestria, became its new ruler, and tricked Lincoln into serving as her chief guard.
What Makes Her a Hate Sink?[]
- While she initially appears to be a noble figure and a symbol of an honest ruler, she is later fully revealed as a vicious, power-hungry, and corrupt psychopath who wants to dictate to everyone else, Equestrian or otherwise.
- She deeply despises the ideology of the Guardians of Harmony, while falsely wanting Lincoln to continue to follow that ideology in order to serve her, while she herself has perverted the ideology of Harmony that Lincoln and his friends strived for, essentially completely destroying the positive relationships between all of Equestria's races so that they cannot go against her rule.
- Despite all her claims of nobility and devotion to her race, wanting it to survive and wanting to make her country and its people strong not only in spirit but also in strength, but in practice her claims are worth absolutely nothing, being by nature nothing more than a power-obsessed egotist who displaces Slenderman's own authority over the Fantastic Creatures and Cyber Warriors and tries to kill Lincoln, along the way ranting in blind rage about how Equestria belongs to her, and no one else should rule it except her, going so far as to consider her a God.
- Despite sparing Lincoln after killing three of her Guardians and muttering "Forgive me" when activating the Cyber Warriors armada, it is revealed in retrospect that this was a moment where Haven was pretending to be kind and remorseful in order to make Lincoln and the protagonists believe her false claims that Equestria would be the strongest country and that she wanted to protect all of its inhabitants, which is completely untrue.
- Despite all of her smug claims that she simply wanted to save her race from all of the races that supposedly wanted to take over a weak-willed Equestria in the past and considered its inhabitants to be naive, weak ponies, she herself has shown to be a psychopathic egotist who is willing to betray and endanger her entire race just to stay on top of the hierarchy of power that she so badly wanted, abandoning all of the ideology and teachings of Harmony and everything she taught Lincoln during her reign.
- Unlike Celestia, Luna, Cadance, and Twilight Sparkle, she has never shown any respect or even a hint of care for Equestria other than as a symbol of her power, or even just the fact that she should rule as a God, and her desire to make its inhabitants strong not only in spirit, but also in strength, simply in order to carry out mass brainwashing in order to maintain her system of government, completely subjugating its three races, and killing absolutely everyone who does not obey her system of government.
- While she genuinely cared for her daughters, in practice all of this sincerity was tied to Haven's desire to raise heirs to her business so that they would preserve her method of rule in the event that something happened to her. And while she did not force or restrict her daughters in their hobbies, activities, or interests, it was merely a sophisticated ploy to manipulate them so that she could then successfully brainwash Zipp and Pippa into being her surrogates for her rule over Equestria. As a result, she had no real care for them, willing to kill them completely for standing in the way of her plans and out of petty anger for her failure to successfully brainwash them.
- Unlike her original counterpart, she had no redeeming qualities or comedic moments from start to finish, and all of her crimes were played out completely seriously.
