Raymond Albert "Ray" Kroc is the titular villainous main protagonist of the 2016 biographical film The Founder. He is a fictionalized version of the real-life Ray Kroc, who went to turn McDonald's into a multi-bounty county around the world after taking it away from their actual owners, Maurice and Richard McDonald.
He was portrayed by Michael Keaton, who also played Chick Hicks in Cars.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- He is extremely egotistical, since caring more about his own business, not even his marriage or to the McDonald's brothers.
- He planned to takeover McDonald's from the McDonald's brothers, as shown between first with Richard, and then later on Maurice with a contact, betraying them entirely and successful done it.
- He had a affair with Joan Smith, causing a divorce with his wife Ethel Kroc.
- During his first appearance, no one wanted him by rejecting him since he only cares about his own business.
- He wanted to turn McDonald's into a worldwide franchise all around the world without caring any good in him.
- He is shown to be very abusive throughout the film.
- Even in real life, if people watched the film and shown how abusive he was and "owning" McDonald's, which in reality was owned by the McDonald's brothers, they would agree the McDonald's brothers was the actual CEOs, owners and founders, not Ray Kroc.
