Detective Roy Earle is the secondary antagonist from the 2011 video game L.A. Noire.
The chief detective of the LAPD's vice desk, Earle is a dirty cop who abuses his power with knowledge of the L.A.'s criminal underworld.
He was voiced and motion captured by Adam John Harrington.
What Makes Him A Hate Sink?[]
- He slapped Elsa for speaking German and called him a facist and is obviously racist.
- He tattled on Phelps to the LAPD for cheating on his wife with Elsa which resulted in Phelps suspension and demotion to the Arson desk.
- He tried to hijack the Suburban Redevelopment Fund investigation.
- He insulted Phelps when he let Albert Hammond leave L.A. with his winnings and Roy told Albert is his money too showing his greediness.
- He worked with the Suburban Redevelopment Fund and got involved with the driving force behind a complex conspiracy to scam the US government out of a large amount of money by throwing up sub-par and dangerous houses, under the guise of building homes for GIs returning home from WWII, along the path of a new freeway and of trying to silence Phelps, Herschel Biggs and Jack Kelso which is led by Leland Monroe.
- He gave a speech of Phelps at the funeral after his death which was [Flippant].
- He was a greedy narcissist, who only looked out for himself, was willing to ruin the lives of anyone who got in his way and used manipulation and corruption.
