This would make her even worse.
- She was already sexual towards Francis when they were early adults, touching him because he "owed her this."
- After she read the book, she slowly became evil, starting with verbal abuse to physical abuse to outright sexually abusing her own husband Francis.
- Her abuse was so bad that Francis was severely bruised and malnourished, with him even changing his own identity.
- When Francis resisted once, she ignored him for a week.
- She was desperate to know the truth and abused Francis when he didn't tell her it.
