Sadie Deever is one of the main antagonists of the Marvel Cinesmatic Universe series Ms. Marvel.
She is a Damage Control agent that was tasked to investigate Ms. Marvel after the incident caused during the AvengerCon.
What Makes Her a Hate Sink?[]
- When she tried to interrogate Zoe Zimmer about Night Light, an alias before being called Ms. Marvel, in an uncomfortable way, this prompt Zoe to refuse to answer any questions and stating that she saved her life.
- When she entered Islamic Masjid of Jersey City, she did not remove her shoe as it was disrespectful of her of not following religion. Also, when Deever tried to investigate at the temple because she know that Ms. Marvel was there without proper clearance, Abdullah and Nakia stopped her and pointed out that issue prompting Deever to leave not before she said a racist remark and using improper quote's from Abraham Lincoln.
- When Deever was looking for Kamran, she used drones to attack Bruno’s apartment that could have hurt Bruno and Kamran showing that she has no qualms hurting children or teenagers.
- She is a hypocrite when she wanted to arrest Ms. Marvel for being a vigilante when she used drones to hurt innocent people just to arrest her.
- When her fellow agent Cleary ordered Deever to not attack Cole Academic High School out of fear of public backlash, she ignored his order and tried to hunt down both Ms. Marvel and Kamran.
- After Ms. Marvel and Kamran escaped from Damage Control with the help of Jerseys civilians, Deever received a called from Cleary, who was extremely displeased for disobeying his orders and ruining Damage Control’s reputation that she was fired for her insubordination, and this was played with satisfaction.
- Overall, Deever was extremely racist, xenophobic, hypocrite, and disrespectful for anyone as she had no qualm of hurting children just to get what she wants. While Damage Control may not have good agents but have standards, she stood out as the worst among the organization. Her hate for the superpower people didn’t give any clear reasons other than being a xenophobic.
