Sauvignon Rouge, also known as Miss Sauvignon, is the main antagonist in the My Little Pony Psychological/Body Horror Fanfic Dysmorphia, which was written by jmj. She is described as being a small pastel green mare with a flowing pink mane and tail.
She is a homewreaker who works at a wine shop. She is also the main reason for Cup Cake's insecurities of her own body, while also trying to steal Cup Cake's husband Mr. Cake/Carrot Cake, not caring if the last mentioned two were already married.
What Makes Her A Hate Sink?[]
- Miss Sauvignon is shown to be a homewrecker who attempted to steal Cup Cake's husband Carrot Cake, despite the mentioned two already being married together, all just to spite Cup Cake.
- Sauvignon is also the root of all Cup Cake's insecurities of her own body. This can be shown as when she first met Cup Cake at Sugarcube Corner, she would implicate an insult about Cup Cake's body by body-shaming her while being smug about it, causing Cup Cake to cry. Sauvignon shows to have no remorse for what she said either.
- What Sauvignon Rouge said was also the reason why Cup Cake tries to starve herself just to try to lose weight to make herself be "beautiful" and "perfect" for Carrot Cake, while also making Cup Cake feel paranoid that other female ponies (like Rarity and Pinkie Pie) would try to steal her husband like Sauvignon was trying to do.
- Sauvignon Rouge would also try to throw herself at Carrot Cake just to try to make him cheat on Cup Cake, despite him already being married to Cup Cake. Sauvignon would even go as far as to sexually harass Carrot Cake despite his reluctance.
- The only reason why Carrot Cake decided to be with Sauvignon for an hour at her wine shop was just for wanting to feel young again and for liking the attention she gave him, which was a mistake he made on his part.
- However, this would make Cup Cake's insecurities get worse, who at this point starved herself for weeks at this point and is blaming herself even though it wasn't.
- The only reason why Carrot Cake decided to be with Sauvignon for an hour at her wine shop was just for wanting to feel young again and for liking the attention she gave him, which was a mistake he made on his part.
- Right after Sauvignon brought Carrot Cake into her wine shop, she would fling herself onto Carrot Cake, proceeding to harass him and giving him a non-consentual kiss, much to Carrot Cake's discomfort.
- When Carrot Cake asked what Sauvignon was doing, she tries to continue to do what she was doing, only for Carrot Cake to reject her advances. This would only make her feel offended for him denying her and call Carrot Cake "bean pole".
- When Carrot Cake tells her that he was already married to Cup Cake, Sauvignon would call Cup Cake a "fat hog" and say that something was "wrong with his eyes" if he thinks that Cup Cake was hotter than her, much to Carrot Cake being offended that Sauvignon would outrightly insult his wife like that.
- Sauvignon would then tell Carrot Cake that Cup Cake has him on a "short leash", even though she herself is trying to make Carrot Cate cheat on Cup Cake, making Sauvignon a hypocrite.
- Carrot Cake would tell Sauvignon that he loves Cup Cake and he finds devotion, loyalty, and friendship the most valuable, saying that Cup Cake has more of those traits that Sauvignon will ever have. He will then say that he came to say that he didn't want to see Sauvignon in her wine shop ever again for upsetting his wife. Sauvignon would then rudely say in an angry manner that she doesn't want to come back to his bakery and insults his wife Cup Cake by calling her a "lard ass" and "that blob of processed cheese".
- Before Carrot Cake decides to leave Sauvignon Rouge, he would tell latter that she looks like a mare that has never been in real love nor in a true relationship and should try it out as she'll find something better than what she has been doing.
- Despite Carrot Cake parting ways with Sauvignon Rouge, the damage has been done and Cup Cake has decided to mutilate herself to "lose all the weight" that she supposedly has, leading Cup Cake to tragically die of blood loss and starvation. This would mean that Sauvignon succeeded in ruining Cup Cake's life and being responsible for her death.
- While her last dialogue can imply her underlying insecurity of being rejected, it does not make her too sympathetic as it does not excuse anything that she did due to her attitude, rudeness and cruelty towards Cup Cake, from Rouge causing Cup Cake to suffer with low self-esteem with her body image to outright attempting to have Carrot Cake be unfaithful just to spite Cup Cake of.
- She was given very little punishment for the psychological torment she put Cup Cake through and was not shown to be punished for indirectly having Cup Cake kill herself, thus meaning that Rouge got away with her actions at the end.
