Sgt. Hilde Schmittendorf is a major antagonist in the 2013 horror video game Dead Rising 3, the third installment of the Dead Rising franchise.

She is a sergeant working with General John Hemlock who was sent to kill survivors in Los Perdidoin order to cover up him crimes.

She was voiced by Diane Delano.

What Makes Her Hated?

• She aided Hemlock with his goals to kill off any living survivors and murder the president in order to install himself as a ruthless dictator that controlled the world through the threat of outbreaks.
• She was the most involved with Hemlock's goals to kill others as she was the leader of a squad that was meant for solely killing any living people and for covering up any evidence of their criminal acts.
• She killed a man's wife in front of him just to get pleasure out of his suffering and then snaps his neck after taunting him over his wife's death.
• After Nick called her out on this act, she just simply ignored him, calling him a "hero wannabe" and made him touch her breasts.
• Even after everything, she felt no remorse for any of her acts and during her dying moments she just simply told Nick it isn't fair for anyone else to have him as "she finished first" before finally dying due to her spine breaking from the fall she endured.
• Her working with Hemlock is based entirely on sadism as there is nothing confirming she is genuinely loyal to him or the Special Ops in general.
