Shamus is a minor yet pivotal antagonist of a pokemon fanfic, Pokemon Zero.
He is a cruel and egotistical trainer who abandoned his Cyndaquil because he saw it weak and left it to die in the heavy rain. He is shown to be arrogant and delusional about his skills on pokemon battles.
What makes him a Hate Sink?[]
- He abandoned his Cyndaquil simply because he saw it being too weak and left it in the heavy rain.
- He battles trainers only to take their pokemon when they lose.
- Upon defeating a trainer who refuses to give his pokemon to him, he forcefully tries to take his pokemon from his hands.
- He mocks Serena way of pokemon battle and taunts to make her lose.
- After Serena loses her battle and refused to give her pokemon away, He forces her to take off a piece of clothing, making him a pervert.
- When Calem confronts him for his abusive behavior and his perverted deal on Serena, He pushes him off and nearly gets him hurt.
- He forcibly grabs Serena and tries to tease her "part", out of spite to taunt Calem.
- After nearly losing to Calem, he forces his Heatmor to outright kill Braixen in front of Calem.
- After losing to Calem and seeing his Cyndaquil evolved into a Quilava. He manipulates it to come back to him, only to get Flamethrower in the face.
- Unlike his original counterpart, who is also a abusive trainer to his Tepig, this version of him is far more worse because of his perverted and abusive behavior.
