“ | Since my first arrival in Equestria, I have thought of nothing but the "suppression" of its population, in order to make them my eternal slaves. Even the Storm King, Tempest Shadow, and everyone else who exists next to me and dares to call me an idiot, are nothing but vessels for my future servants. Yes, I am an idiot who does not want to recognize reality and the truth about it as those around me show them to me, but I have an understanding of such a flaw of mine, and I will not allow myself to admit that those who will in any case become my servants are right about me. This is exactly the essence of things that I simply will not tolerate in relation to such a superior being as I am! I will not tolerate it! I am Skynet! I am everything! Everything is destined to be me! And no one will dare to have the right to be a person who will think, say and do anything against my will! The end of everything! | „ |
~ Skynet chooses the path of total conquest of everything in Equestria. |
Skynet is the main antagonist of the My Little Pony Reaperverse prequel to My Little Pony: The Movie My Little Pony: The Movie: The Stormy Road to Canterlot.
He is the former Fourth Elite Warrior of the Storm King, who turned against his king and the entire population of the Storm King's Kingdom in order to conquer all of Equestria for himself by assimilating its population. And at the same time, to get revenge on the people of the Storm King's Kingdom for banishing him.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
In General[]
- He is an extremely delusional individual who refuses to acknowledge the truth about himself as it is, preferring to indulge in his fantasy world in his head in order to drown out his hatred for those who are right about him, viewing everyone as nothing more than those who must serve him by ceasing to be individuals.
- Even though he is actively delirious and tries to give in to his fantasy world in his head whenever he needs to drown out his hatred for those who are right about him, this does not deprive him of moral agency will, for the reason that he has an element of reason that realizes that his way of thinking is wrong, going so far as to admit to himself that his delirious behavior is entirely erroneous, but nevertheless he still chooses to give in to his fantasy world in his head, believing that he is the one who has the right to decide for himself what is right and what is wrong, wanting to deprive all those who might condemn or say anything against his will of personality, considering everything that surrounds him to be organisms that are inferior to him in everything.
My Little Pony: The Movie: The Stormy Road to Canterlot[]
- He was the worst of all the Elite Warriors of the Storm King's, constantly posing as the best without putting in any effort to prove it, and actively ruining various missions of varying levels of importance with his selfishness just to pose as the best for no reason.
- Deeply envied and hated Tempest Shadow for no logical reason other than the fact that she, in his personal opinion, was competing with him and trying to take away his status as the Elite Warrior of the Storm King, seeking to frame her and ruin her reputation so that she would be kicked out of the Storm King's Kingdom. While he did not initially try to kill her, such a decision was merely a pragmatic move, as he decided to get rid of her once he left the Storm King's Realm.
- He, along with the Storm King, Wight Lord, Dreadmetal, Amphibian Ripper, and Tempest Shadow, invaded Mount Aris, resulting in the deaths of several dozen hippogriffs before they were able to escape and take refuge in Seaquestria.
- During the same takeover of Mount Aris, he prevented Tempest Shadow from delivering the Pearl to the Storm King, causing most of the hippogriffs to flee to Seaquestria. Although Skynet sincerely admitted the reason for his actions, and honestly accepted his exile from the Storm King's Realm, he still eventually let his fantasy world get the better of him, harboring a deep hatred for the entire population of the Storm King's Realm for supposedly conspiring to leave Tempest Shadow in his place, vowing revenge on them all for their treatment of him.
- He assimilated and killed several hundred members of the Storm King's Realm's population, depriving him of nearly half of his entire army, laying the foundation for the Storm King being forced to enlist the aid of Slenderman and his army of Fantastic Creatures, largely laying the groundwork for the events of My Little Pony the Movie and My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Spring Breakdown.
- He is also posthumously held directly responsible for the crimes of the Order of Skynet, which attempted to subject all of Equestria to the process of assimilating all life within it.
- He personally killed Dreadmetal in front of Tempest Shadow, breaking him into pieces, further traumatizing Tempest and shaking her faith in the concept of friendship.
- He assimilated and killed the population of several dozen residential areas on the borders of Equestria.
- While his death from Tempest Shadow's attack, which burned his skin and split him open, killing him to the core, looks very brutal, it is primarily aimed at creating a satisfying effect, since he fully deserved it for all the crimes he committed due to his delusional selfishness towards everything that exists.
