| “ | I'll just devour the humans that seem tasty, but the ones that taste bad... I like to show myself a good time by tormenting them all night! | „ |
| ~ Slasher's goal. |
The Slasher (りき Kirisaki?) was the nickname given to a demon that served as a minor antagonist in Demon Slayer during the investigation of the Mugen Train and was responsible for a number of human attacks.
He was voiced by Kentarō Itō in Japanese and Jarred Kjack in the English dub.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
In General[]
- He enjoys torturing victims with certain blood types that he views as not worthy of devouring; instead, he would leave behind their corpses to cause chaos among civilians.
- He is one of the few demons in the series who loves to kill humans for sick pleasure, other than food.
- He is extremely cocky and smug, so much that viewers will want to punch him.
Background[]
- He horribly tortured a innocent woman from the previous night and leaves her bleeding out after he got bored, luckily she was quickly discovered by Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku and was her life was saved in time with the treatment she needed for both physical and mental wounds.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba[]
- When he first meets Rengoku, He grabs a Teenager named Tatsu and uses him as a human shield against him.
- While using Tatsu as a human shield he painfully digs his claws in his chest.
- He tries to rip Tatsu apart, but luckily Rengoku was able to cut off his arms before he could do so.
- He brags to Rengoku, how he tortured the woman in the previous night.
- Tries to kill Fuku’s grandmother, Tomi, all just for the ridiculously petty reason of throwing bento boxes at him.
- He almost strangles Fuku, who would have died had Rengoku didn't make it in time to save her, showing he has zero problem with hurting and killing children.
- His gruesome death at Rengoku's hands is played for complete and utter satisfaction.
- He is one of the few demons to earn the rightful wrath of Rengoku.
