Sloan Blackburn is the main antagonist of Nickelodeon's 9th feature film The Wild Thornberrys Movie. He is the ruthless leader of the Poachers, the husband of Bree Blackburn, and the archenemy of Eliza Thornberry.

He was voiced by Rupert Everett.

Why Do We Hate Him?

• Kidnapped and poached animals to possibly sell them or kill them for their fur.
• He and Bree tried to roughly kill one thousand elephants with an electric fence by making them stampede in fear with explosives. While they technically didn't know the elephants were sapient, this is still overly cruel.
• Threatened to kill Debbie by throwing her off the cliff if Eliza did not tell them her source of information, which forced her to give up her ability to speak to animals.
• When his men pointed out that Eliza was with them when they were instructed to shoot the elephants, Sloan disposed of Eliza by throwing her into a waterfall.
• Lacks comedic moments and is played 100% seriously.
• He, alongside Bree, are the most hateable and evil out of all of the antagonists in The Wild Thornberrys, as Sloan is shown having no empathy for the animals and people he hurts, nor any remorse for his vile deeds. He is even perfectly willing to threaten children (for no good reason) should they meddle with his plans.
