Smitty

Smitty is the overarching antagonist of the 1941 Disney animated film Dumbo.

He was voiced by the late Malcolm Hutton.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]

Him making fun of Dumbo for his appearance, with him even going as far as pulling on his ears, is portrayed in a more serious tone, as he is basically mocking a baby elephant over his disability. When he does this, Dumbo's mother is in shock, and she proceeds to attack him and his friends.
- Dumbo's mother being taken away as a result of this is also portrayed negatively.
He was meant to be portrayed as being hypocritical for mocking Dumbo's large ears, as he was designed with large ears himself.
