Son Myeong-hwan is a bully at Hyosan High School who enjoyed making his classmate's lives misreble. He is an antagonist in All of Us Are Dead.
He was portrayed by Oh Hee-joon.
What Makes him Hated?[]
- Son Myeong-hwan was first seen in the show beating down Lee Jin-su alongside other classmates. He was the one leading the attack against him. Unlike Gwi-nam, he didn’t get upset when Jin-su fell off the roof.
- Myeong-hwan had a history of antagonizing Lee Jin-su, Min Eun-ji, and Kim Cheol-su, which led to them wanting to commit suicide.
- He participated in the psychological abuse of Eun-ji and Cheol-su. He played a part in forcing Cheol-su to make a video of Eun-ji as she had parts of her clothes stripped and threatened to have the video posted online.
- He was shown to not be a good student either by wanting to skip class.
- After the outbreak of the Jonas Virus and the zombie apocalypse, he tries to film the nurse who's acting out of character and upload it too make fun of her.
- Myeong-hwan meets with Gwi-nam again. He mocked and belittled Gwi-nam and called him out of his name while trying to use him as bait.
- He had no sympathetic qualities and only one redeeming quality. Even Gwi-nam has some insecurity (albeit egotistical insecurity more than anything) and some charm to his character. Myeong-hwan has nothing remotely likable about him and it’s hard not to cheer for Gwi-nam as he betrays and kills him.
