~ Braun, after The Lone Wanderer asked him why does he torture his residents. |
Stanislaus Braun is a minor antagonist in the 2008 video game Fallout 3. He is an extremely sadistic and depraved individual who enslaved all his vault resident's into his highly advanced virtual reality machines so he could torture them endlessly for centuries. This went on for over 200 years until is either finally stopped by The Lone Wanderer or if the Wanderer decides to assist Braun he is free to carry on with his torture for eternity.
He was voiced by Dee Bradley Baker (who also voiced Bubble Bass, Kevin C. Cucumber, Squilliam Fancyson, What Zit Tooya, Puffy Fluffy and Le Spatula in SpongeBob SquarePants and Atomic Skull in Superman vs. The Elite) and Corrieanne Stein.
What Makes Him Hateable?[]
- He trapped people in his virtual hell for 200 years, and tortured them in extremely sadistic and painful ways, and even admits he does everything he does because he likes to see others suffer.
- He listened to Timmy Neusbaum's screams of pain, and thought it sounded beautiful, so he made him get eaten by a shark over and over so he could hear his screams of pain constantly.
- He thought it was funny watching Old Lady Dithers slip and impale herself on a fence post.
- When James arrives to get Braun's assistance on purifying the water, Braun doesn't care and just turns him into a dog because Braun considered James a dog from the beginning.
- He orders The Lone Wanderer to torture the inhabitants of Tranquillity Lane by making Timmy cry, breaking up the Rockwells marriage so he can enjoy their suffering, killing Mabel Henderson in a creative way otherwise Braun will not be satisfied with the results, and then he orders The Lone Wanderer to massacre Tranquillity Lane because he wants to witness someone else cause carnage after 200 years.
- If The Lone Wanderer activates the failsafe to release Braun's prisoners from their suffering, Braun complains that he will be stuck in Tranquillity Lane forever, and only feels sorry for himself rather than show remorse for his terrible acts.
- He was so reprehensible that James and The Lone Wanderer believed Braun deserved his fate.
- It is later revealed that Braun was very influential in the creation of the vaults and their human experiments, giving him an even higher amount of people hurt by his actions then the Tranquillity Lane bunch.
