People love what I have to say! They believe in it! They just don't like the word "Nazi." That's all.
~ Stormfront to the Boys and Starlight and her most famous quote

Klara Risinger, a.k.a. Stormfront, is a major antagonist in the 2019 Amazon TV adaptation of the comic book series The Boys, serving as one of the two main antagonists (along with Homelander) of Season 2, and a minor yet pivotal antagonist in Season 3. She is a member of the superhero team called The Seven while secretly being a Nazi.

She was portrayed by Aya Cash in Season 2 and 3, and by Charlize Theron in the trailer for The Dawn of the Seven in season 3.

What Makes Her a Hate Sink?[]

  • Despite her friendly and Amazonian nature, she is actually a horrible neo-Nazi who wishes to exterminate all colored individuals.
  • She and Frederick Vought created Compound V in the hopes of creating super soldiers to eradicate other races, making her partially responsible for all of the events in the story.
  • She continues to follow Nazi supremacist views, that she towards everyone she comes across, including her own allies (e.g. her racism towards A-Train, Kimiko, and Kenji and her supremacy against Ashley, Stan Edgar, and Becca Butcher).
    • In fact, in modern days, her xenophobia only got worse, as she also wants to kill all non-Supes, while at same time being fine with killing fellow Supes if they get in her way.
  • She posed as a superhero named Liberty as an excuse to commit horrible hate crimes. one time, she brutally killed a young black man named Myron Hunter and had Vought silenced his sister, Valerie with a measly $2000 check, not caring about the lifelong trauma Valerie developed.
  • She joined the Seven in the hope to gain power through social media and create an Aryan army. After the creation of Supe-Terrorists, she repeatedly spread anti-immigrant propaganda on the news and social media to foster the public's fear of terrorism.
    • This makes her indirectly responsible when one of her followers named Tommy Peterson became increasingly paranoid about Supe-terrorism from constantly viewing her propaganda. This eventually lead Tommy kill Kuldeep Singh, a convenience store worker Tommy suspected to be a Supe-Terrorist despite Kuldeep doing nothing wrong. What make this even worse is that Kuldeep had a family.
  • She indirectly insults the Church of the Collective for allowing A-Train, a black man, to join them.
  • While chasing down Kimiko's brother, Kenji, she killed a black family of 3 (2 children and one parent) because their screams of terror got on her nerves and likely would've blamed it on Kenji. She also went on to cause mass destruction across the apartment, killing 59 innocent people in total.
  • She sadistically tortured Kenji by breaking his wrists before snapping his neck while calling a "yellow bastard."
  • She arranged a sit-down between Starlight with her mom just to spite her, being well aware over how Annie felt about Donna at the time. When Annie tearfully confronts her over this, Stormfront passes it off as a sob story.
  • She shows no sympathy and even belittles Starlight for succumbing to sexual assault from the Deep and aggressively tells her next time "If someone sticks a d*ck in your mouth, bite it off."
  • While stopping a robbery with Homelander, Stormfront urges Homelander into killing the petty thief. They go on to have sex in the same area even while covered in the thief's blood after Homelander painfully smashes the thief's head open.
  • She and Homelander successfully cause Homelander's son, Ryan, to turn against his mother and run away with them. She then tried to manipulate the boy into upholding her supremacist views.
  • She intended to kill Kimiko and broke her neck during the fight, the latter only surviving due to her advanced regeneration.
  • She tried to strangle Becca Butcher to death after she stabs her eye in self-defense when she tried to take Ryan away from her. Ryan ultimately uses his heat vision to stop her, but he accidentally kills Becca in the process, making her responsible for Becca's death.
  • While she still provided Homelander reassurance, she only stayed with Homelander under his previous promise to continue her plans in creating an army of Aryan Supes. Once Homelander broke that promise and she realizes she's lost all influence over him, she promptly grows emotionally distant and ignores him before committing suicide that same day.
    • This also unknowingly makes her responsible for Homelander's continued down spiral as he would kill a young woman immediately after discovering the news Stormfront was dead.
  • While Homelander is much more heinous than Stormfront, she stands out due to her racism and hardly having any redeeming qualities. Her only redeeming quality is her care for her dead daughter and husband.

Trivia[]

  • Aya Cash considers Stormfront to be more evil than Homelander because while Homelander's destructiveness is about ego, Stormfront has a deliberate racist agenda.
  • While Stormfront is currently a Hate Sink, her status may or may not change in The Boys' upcoming prequel, Vought Rising.
