Takagi is a minor antagonist in the second part of the Chainsaw Man manga series.

He worked for the Public Safety Devil Hunters as a Special Division agent prior to getting killed at the hands of a Devil.

What Makes Him A Hate Sink?

• He admits to having cheated on his wife in the past but refuses to acknowledge he did anything wrong since it lasted six months, Also admitting that he would have wanted his neighbor to have turned into a devil instead. Yoru realizes that he’s only stalling them to buy more time for Samurai Sword and Nail Fiend to ambush them.
• He mistreats the devils and hybrids under his command claiming that them doing the dirty work for the Public Safety Devils was the only means they had to keep everything they cared for in balance.
• Takagi orders Samurai Sword, Nail Fiend, Quanxi to murder Asa and Fami's groups despite the fact that a large portion of them are teens who are by no means threats.
• He is also a misogynist who goes on a tirade of women being inferior to men only to be murdered by his own wife.
• None of his subordinates like him and turn on him without much complaint, and the surgeons are willing to dismiss his death as long as they were safe.
