Team CRDL are Cardin Winchester's teammates, Russel Thrush, Dove Bronzewing, and Sky Lark. Like Cardin, they are bullies who pick on other students, especially Faunus.
What makes them Hate Sinks?[]
Like Cardin, they are all racist bullies. They are seen laughing at Velvet as Cardin painfully pulls on one of her ears, with Russel in particular calling Velvet a freak.
They force Jaune to gather all the tree sap while they laze about. They also show no concern when Jaune states that he thinks he's allergic to the sap.
They are complicit in Cardin's attempt to force Jaune to get Pyrrha stung by wasps while knowing of Jaune's friendship with her.
They decide to beat Jaune up before revealing he snuck into Beacon Academy and getting him expelled. Sky in particular kicks Jaune from behind after he has been knocked down for the third time by Cardin.
They cowardly abandon Jaune and Cardin when an Ursa arrives, leaving them to fend for themselves.
Their and Cardin's defeat by Pyrrha in a four on one training session is played for satisfaction.
In the RWBY: Official Manga Anthology, the story "Black Beauty and the Cat-Eared Girl" has them and Cardin bullying Velvet again, and they are later beaten up by Velvet's teammates, which is played for satisfaction.
