Teddy and Martha

Teddy and Martha are minor antagonists in the Disney Channel animated series Amphibia serving as the main antagonists of the episode "A Night at the Inn".

They're a married couple of bull frogs who lure travelers to their inn snd then eat them.

Teddy was voiced by Chris Sullivan and Martha was voiced by Kari Wahlgren.

What Makes Them Hate Sinks?[]

They lure travelers into their inn and eventually eat them.
They may appear affable to Anne, Sprig Polly and Hopediah at first, but it's all a facade.
Martha tried to catch and cook Polly who's a literal child in the middle of the night.
They planned on cooking Anne, Sprig Polly and Hopediah.
They tried to kill Polly when she tried to save her family.
Although they have a few comedic moments they don't detract from how horrible they are.
They locked up their victims' snails and they all missed their owners and looked downright miserable.
Their defeat of getting exploded in the end is completely deserved for their horrific actions.
Unlike most Hate Sinks in Amphibia they lack true comedic moments and Intimidation.

Trivia[]

They're the only members of the cannibal family that count as Hate Sinks as the other two lack sufficient characterization.
