Terrible Trio are the main antagonist of the titular episode of the series, Batman: The Animated Series.
They are a trio of wealthy, arrogant young men who commit crimes for fun. The Fox serves as the leader of the group.
What Makes Them Hate Sink?[]
- They started to commit crimes, out of boredom after they did so many adventures activities that was opened to rich people. This made Batman viewed them as worse than the Joker, who at least has insanity as an excuse for being a villain.
- When the Terrible Trio rob a bank, they confronted a guard and beat him, while Fox taunts the guard for having a low money and condescendingly gives the guard money, which the guard refuses, before Batman and Robin arrive.
- When the trios make their escape, they make the pier explode causing Robin, who was pursing them, to have some injuries.
- During a Skeet shooting game, Warren was being condescending to Bruce for being polite to servants and being a boring rich billionaire.
- The Terrible Trios like to be arrogant and condescending towards anyone who are less rich.
- Although Warren did gave Rebecca, his girlfriend, 5000 dollars check to help cover the credit card bill, he did it on an attempt to rob Fallbrooks' home.
- When Rebecca's father, who was supposed to be out of town, confronted them, the Terrible Trio beat him up leaving him unconscious and take his pin.
- The Terrible Trio take Rebecca, who is feeling sad over her father's injuries, to a snow cabin to comfort her, when in actuality, they want her to forget her issues over her father as well as to make her not suspect.
- Fox was not smart enough to hid the stolen pin, which made Rebecca realizes that they are the culprit.
- Fox used the chloroform to make Rebecca unconscious, then put her in a car for it to push from top of the hill to fall down killing her and could have succeed had Batman and Robin not saved her in time.
- After Batman defeated the Terrible Trio, Fox tried to bride Batman with money to not get arrested, but Batman refused.
- When Fox is being arrested, he arrogantly believes that he has the money to avoid prison. However, Fox proves wrong as he is in a dirty prison cell with an intimidating prisoner as his cellmate making him realized that he can't even weasel his way out and money isn’t everything, and this is played with satisfaction.
- Overall, the Terrible Trio were so arrogant and condescending that despite Fox’s relationship towards Rebecca may seems like good thing but ultimately viewed her as a trophy than a person with no qualm of murdering her that they got a well-deserved defeat at the hands of Batman and being sent to prison for their crimes.
