The Cipsneed is the main antagonist of the 2023 short horror film The Kid and the Camera.
He was introduced as a kindhearted dream fairy who invited Cailen to his house to 'fix' his broken camera, but in reality, he is nothing but a manipulative kidnapper who lured Cailen there for malicious purposes.
What makes him despicable?[]
- He has likely kidnapped many children and killed them.
- He manipulated Cailen using the facade of a kindhearted sleep fairy and pretended to sympathize with him over his broken camera, only for Cailen to be kidnapped and possibly killed by him.
- He even brutally mutilate the boy by cutting his feet.
- He got away with his whole acts and the authorities never found Cailen, implying that he had killed the poor boy.
- While he is extremely enigmatic and mysterious, we can already tell that he has a clear personality as psychopathic, insane and twisted, and it implies that he has no motive for his actions other than just pure sadism, which makes him even more hateable.
- While it could be argued that the kid and the camera is somewhat of an Exploitation film, it sends a clear warning to kids by telling them not to talk to strangers.
- While it is clearly argued that he suffers from fridge horror to be a hate sink, it is still heavily implied that he knows all the boys and girls around the globe, which also heavily suggests that he has killed and kidnapped many innocent children before Cailen.
