The Fluffy Bunch is a minor villainous group in The Powerpuff Girls, only appearing as the main antagonist of the season 5 episode "Sweet 'N' Sour".
Members[]
- Fluffy Kitty - She's the leader of the group with her kitty cat looks quite cute, but her personality is anything but. She is somewhat mean-spirited and spoiled. She is voiced by Cathy Cavadini, who also voiced Blossom.
- Cuddly Bunny - She's the other female member of the Fluffy Bunch. Her body is pink and her eyes are blue. Like the other members, she is spoiled and greedy. She has an intelligent side and can trick people easily. Cuddly is much nicer than the other members, but her spoiled behavior and greediness interfere with that. She usually bounces around. She is voiced by Elizabeth Daily, who also voiced Buttercup.
- Puppy Wuppy - He's the last and only male member of the of the Fluffy Bunch. Like the others, he is spoiled, mean and likes rare things. He has a big love for dog treats. Puppy Wuppy is stronger compared to the others, but he can be ditzy most of the time and usually gets hit by Fluffy Kitty for that, similar to how Brick hits Boomer. he is voiced by Tara Strong, who also voiced Bubbles.
What Makes Them Hate Sinks?[]
- They use their "cuteness" to commit crimes and victimize themselves as a way to get away with it.
- They start their crime spree in a bank by making the bankers think they should rob because they are "cute".
- When the Powerpuff Girls try to stop them, they act cowardly by making the citizens of Townsville think that the girls assaulted them and the citizens turn against and into massive jerks to them.
- When The Powerpuff Girls try to take them to jail, and without anyone noticing, The Fluffy Bunch reveals their true colors by making them see that they won't go to jail for being "cute".
- They even convinced the police officers and the mayor to let them go free and cast The Powerpuff Girls as mean and rude.
- They even went so far as to needlessly rob the girls' own house, and making the Professor let them do it by using their cuteness.
- While The Fluffy Bunch do get a bit of comeuppance (as the little kids in the Kindergarten grab, hug and kiss the 3 of them so hard they feel extreme pain from it), it's too light to be considered karma, and isn't played too much for satisfaction.
- They have no comedic moments and they are taken 100% seriously. At least Princess Morbucks, despite being hate sink too, had her comedic moments.
Trivia[]
- As stated above, the original voice actors are the same ones who voice the show's protagonists.
