- Upon finding out that the Once-ler's Thneed was successful, she proceeded ride over to where he was situated and started acting proud of him, showing that she only cares about him when she has something to gain.
- She manipulated the Once-ler into cutting down the Truffula Trees, making her directly responsible for his descent into villainy.
- Once the last Truffula Tree is cut down, instead of acknowledging that she had contributed to the World's pollution, she chooses to put all of the blame on the Once-ler, saying that he let her down, and then proceeded to leave him there to deal with the aftermath.
- Before abandoning The Once-ler behind to never come back, she says that one of the Once-ler's older brothers, Brett, is now her new "favorite child." This shows that she only likes her children whenever she could get something out of them and how conditional her care for her sons are, as well as how terrible of a mother she is.
- Due to leaving without the Once-ler's money, she has to live the less luxurious life again, which implied that this served as karma to her for her crime.
