RAT, or just The Rat, is the main antagonist of the Five Nights at Candy's series. He is a ruined animatronic possessed by an egotistical actor kept in Candy's Burger's & Fries hellbent on revenge against Mary Schmidt, The girl he blames for his death.
What Make's Him a Hate Sink?[]
- Even before his death, He was already a cruel and vile person. As he's described as being a jerk to the kids at the theater. He was known for drinking on the job and had a massive ego, viewing himself as the only one who has talent at the theater.
- He started strangling The Puppeteer simply because he was going to take off his mask.
- While he was accidentally killed by The Puppeteer, it isn't played for sympathy. If anything, it's played for satisfaction.
- Additionally, he blames Mary Schmidt, a girl who had almost nothing to do with his death, for the reason he died.
- After he possessed the Rat animatronic, he attacked Mary's little brother in front of her and a whole audience.
- He psychologically tormented Mary in her nightmares as Monster Rat and Shadow Rat.
- He took sadistic joy in watching The Cat murder two children, And turn them into endo skeletons that would lead to them possessing the Candy and Cindy animatronics.
- Additionally, if it was ever confirmed Rat ordered the deaths of the twins, Then it would make him even more hateable and Pure Evil.
- He tries to kill Mary at her sixth night as the security guard at Candy's.
- He tore Chester the Chimpanzee apart just for entering his room. However, Chester would eventually be fixed.
- He killed the new security guard at Candy's and frame Candy for the death, Which leads to them being sent to the factory.
- He tries to kill Mary's daughter Marylin with the help of The Cat, And if they do succeeded in it, Her corpse is left to be found by authorities with it being compared to a bear attack.
- Overall, he has no redeeming qualities and is hated by pretty much everyone in the series.
