The Widow's unnamed husband is a minor unseen antagonist in the AMC series Into the Badlands.

He was once one of the most powerful Barons in the Badlands, being known for his cruelty. He ruled over the Butterfly Territory with a Cog woman named Minerva as his wife. The Baron would repeatedly rape a Cog girl named Tilda, prompting Minerva to assassinate him, leading to her becoming the new Baron of the territory and being given the title of "The Widow."

What Makes Him Hated?

• He was known to be ruthless and sadistic, to the point that the Chau family actually liked him, despite seeing themselves as above everyone.
• His own Regent Nathaniel Moon considered killing him due to all of the horrific acts he witnessed the Baron commit.
• He took Minerva as his wife and physically abused her for years, even bragging about it to the other Barons.
• Due to his status as Baron, he could have any Doll prostitute that he wanted, but instead decided to force himself on the underaged house Cog girl Tilda, and he would do this every night.
• He would force Tilda to say that she loved him while he was raping her, and when she forgot to say it one night, he apparently did something horrible to make sure she never forgot again.
• The abuse he inflicted on Tilda prompted her to steal a knife from the kitchen with the plan to kill herself when he came to knock on her door, and the only thing that stopped Tilda from going through with it was Minerva assassinating him.
