Theel, also known as Recorder B2H6, is a major antagonist in the 2023 Marvel Cinematic Universe film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the third and final installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy.

He is a Recorder, a cybernetic member of OrgoCorp's scientific division who collected the scientific information of the High Evolutionary's unethical experimentations on animals and other lifeforms, and assisted the High Evolutionary in the experiments. Theel is a Motio, a species created by the High Evolutionary to serve as his Recorders.

He was portrayed by Nico Santos.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]

Unlike other minions serving under High Evolutionary, who either have some standards or well-intentioned, he takes quite a lot of joy in tormenting his victims.
He helped his master to experiment and vivisecting animals, and he is especially responsible for turning Rocket into an evolved animal.
In a flashback, Theel is shown harshly shoving Rocket into his cage, and kicking other animals' cages to taunt them heartlessly.
When Star Lord and Groot were cornered by the guards, Theel mocks them for how stupid they are to fell for an obvious trap.
As soon as Star Lord and Groot fight back at the guards, Theel fell on his knees and begged for undeserved mercy.
His death is played for nothing but pure satisfaction. Star Lord pushes him out of the High Evolutionary's base and then uses him as a cushion for the landing, before gouging out the database implant on his head, and leaving his corpse to be disintegrated by the explosion of Counter-Earth.
