Three, Four and Five were minor antagonists in Season 4 of the Netflix original series Stranger Things. They were of Martin Brenner's test subjects at Hawkins National Laboratory. Under the leadership of Number Two, they would abuse Eleven after she beat their leader in a fight. They would seemingly follow Two's lead and rule as the strongest among the other test subjects.
Three is portrayed by Morgan Gao. Four is portrayed by Sparrow Nicole. Five is portrayed by Jessica Arden Napier.
What Makes Them Hate Sinks?[]
- They wait for the security cameras to be off to gang up on the far younger subject Eleven and use their psychic powers to torture and abuse her for defeating Two (in a fair fight, no less.) During this, they make multiple unfunny sarcastic and sadistic quips even after she is in clear pain from a concussion.
- They laugh when Two jokes about Eleven getting hurt for being clumsy.
- They are shown glaring at Eleven after Two is hospitalized. If One is to be believed, they were planning to kill her.
- Unlike Two, who can't count as a Hate Sink, they are never shown to be insecure and can't be considered Scapegoats because they are killed offscreen and made multiple threatening glances at Eleven regardless, indicating they are a threat.
- While it could be said they are tragic from dehumanizing experimentation from Martin Brenner, it is never played sympathetically and other subjects like Eight, Ten and Eleven are shown to be non-hostile unlike them.
