“ | Hey. Grief, it's a bitch. He couldn't live with it, Matt dying the way he did. It's too much for the old man. So Mikey here decided to eat his gun. It's tragic, but anyone could see this coming, hmm? He's drinking himself to death. We're doing him a favor. | „ |

What Makes them a Hate Sink?[]
- They were crooked police officers that abused the corruption of the Philadelphia police department by committing crimes and tampering with evidence.
- When Matty Ehrmantraut heartbrokenly discovers how dishonest the police department was, his idealism on Mike shattered. When they discovered Matt found out about their deeds, they bribed him, only to stage his death anyways.
- Rudely coerces Mike to get in their police car, despite Mike's insistence on walking home.
- They attempt to interrogate Mike on what he meant on the bar, only to silently panic when Mike points out what they have remorselessly done.
- They attempt to stage an assassination on Mike and write his death off as a suicide.
- They are the primary reason as to why Mike has a hardened and sorrowful personality, causing him to become a ruthless enforcer in his life.
- Even the Philadelphia police department (which was already corrupt itself) stated those two officers completely deserved their deaths.
