~ Tyrus to Walter White. |
Tyrus Kitt is a supporting antagonist in Breaking Bad and its prequel series Better Call Saul. He is a prominent enforcer of Gus Fring.
He was portrayed by Ray Campbell.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- He is extremely hostile, sadistic and petty, as seen in his attitude toward Walter, Jesse and Nacho:
- Along with Victor, he gladly shoots Nacho as part of a plot to cover up Arturo's murder, smugly tells him they "gotta make it look real", and later breaks into his house and forces him to tell him where his father is.
- He takes part in threatening Nacho's father's life, and points a gun at Mike when he opposes this.
- He rarely speaks to Walt and Jesse except when reminding them to work or follow rules, just to be mean.
- He finds pleasure in harming Walt or seeing him suffering, smirking when transporting Walt in dirty laundry, seeing him realize Jesse has been cooking without him and tasering him while assisting Gus in kidnapping him. He also treats Walt this way for petty reasons.
- He even refuses to extend his arm to pass a cell phone to Jesse.
- He fills in Victor's previous role of keeping an eye on Walt and Jesse until they outlive their usefulness, not only at work but also wherever they may go.
- It's likely that he knew Gus murdered Victor but simply didn't care.
- He has three Honduran women deported for speaking to Walter.
- While his death was brutal he definitely deserved it.
