He was voiced by Stephen Root.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- The major detail of the episode he is in is that he is racist towards others for no good reason.
- While he shows kindness to most of the Titans, he shows nothing but contempt toward Starfire, calling her a "troq", which is a slur that literally means "nothing".
- With nothing actually being known of the Locrix, most of the antagonism is actually by him even though he is supposed to be a hero.
- When the titans realize how badly Val-Yor had been disrespecting Starfire, they are all disgusted.
- When his life is in danger, he tells Starfire to leave him, not because he wants her to save herself, but because he would rather die than be saved by a Tameranean.
- After Starfire saves him, he gives an extremely weak and backhanded thanks to her by calling her "one of the good ones."
- When the Titans demand him to leave, he says they are no different from "the troqs", showing he still holds Tameraneans in contempt.
