Vincent Aza is a minor antagonist in Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir.
A photographer turned social media influencer who hosts "Vincent's Secret", Vincent is a selfish and inconsiderate blogger willing to exploit others for his own self-interest. Following the defeat of Monarch, he falsified rumors about Adrien and Marinette for online fame.
He was voiced by Matthew Mercer in the English dub.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- In "Pixelator", he stalked Jagged Stone to an obsessive degree by taking photos of him and even following his mother to her bingo club, leaving Jagged understandably uncomfortable towards him and telling Penny to escort him away.
- In Climatiqueen he stalk Marinette and Adrien while in a garbage can and tries to talk to Adrien about his father only to be stopped by his bodyguard and spayed with water this his act of asking questions to Adrien about his father made him sad about it
- In "Revelator", he started the channel "Vincent's Secret", where he spread slander and falsified rumors for online clout while making rude remarks towards the people he's gossiping about.
- He had a massive kick the dog moment where, he insulted Adrien by claiming that he used to be good-looking and had everything, but he became nothing after the death of his father.
- He claimed that Marinette was dating Adrien and taking advantage of his grief towards his father's death, while calling her a "futureless daughter of bakers". His video shattered Marinette's reputation, causing her parents' bakery to be vandalized with disparaging depictions of Marinette and his fans harassing her family by calling them about the rumors.
- He made a video about Ladybug and Cat Noir, mocking them for not being able to defeat Monarch (unaware that Ladybug was keeping Gabriel's defeat and identity as Monarch a secret), also making drawings depicting the heroes as incompetent.
- When confronted by Adrien, Marinette and her father Tom, he felt no remorse towards what his rabid fans did as a result of his videos, claiming the phone calls came from teenagers pulling pranks and changing the subject when he saw the bakery's vandalism.
- After he filmed an interview with Marinette and Adrien claiming to understand the truth, he edited the video to take snippets of Marinette's words out of context in order to tarnish her reputation even more.
- When Alya interviewed him using an illusion she created with Mirage, he boasted about his belief that dramatizing events will cause more fame than the truth, and claimed that people are stupid since they only want entertainment in their boring lives, which backfired against him after he was secretly recorded and publicly exposed as a fraud.
- He was utterly ungrateful towards being deakumatized, showing no desire to change even after the heroes advised him to stop exposing others' secrets, indicating he may continue doing it anyway.
- Neither of his akumatizations are played for sympathy because he brought the misfortune that got him akumatized on himself.
Trivia[]
- Despite his awful behavior in Pixelator, Vincent wasn't considered a Hate Sink until Revelator due to becoming more malicious and detestable in that episode.
