“ | What’s the matter, Foxy? I thought you wanted an audience! | „ |
~ William Afton's most famous quote. |
“ | I went up there about four times. Picked the worst kids of the bunch, took them back, and I gave it to them. I couldn't do much, of course, they'd start squealing. So I made it quick enough to be efficient, but long enough to make it last... It was hell for them, but it was heaven for me. And... Then I leave. Without the slightest bit of guilt! So, there you go. | „ |

William Afton is the main antagonist of the FNaF VHS series by Squimpus McGrimpus, serving as the overarching antagonist of Season 1 and the main antagonist of Season 2.
After losing his son Joseph, he murdered five children between 1984 to 1985 to let out his anger. He is heavily based on his original counterpart, mainly from the first four games.
He was voiced by Nolan David.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- Even before Michael accidentally killed Joseph, William was an emotionally abusive father towards Michael. He considered Michael to be a failure and not worth his time, and it is implied William physically beat him more than once, evidenced in a later tape when he even admits that he missed hearing Michael cry when he used to scream at him.
- After Joseph's death, he wanted to kill Michael and only refrained since he would get caught over this. This only prompted Afton to get worse with his abuse with Michael.
- He killed five children who reminded him of Michael to vent his anger over losing Joseph and stuffed their corpses into the animatronics, so that he could fantasize that he was actually killing Michael, all while claiming that they deserved it.
- After several years, he decided to destroy the animatronics that were containing the bodies and spirits of the children he murdered. He casually admitted that he did not feel any guilt from these crimes.
- Like his canon version, while his fate on being stuck in the Springtrap suit is horrible, he completely deserved it because of his atrocities and his lack of remorse. Unlike his canon counterpart, he lacks any Evil is Cool presence and is straight up despicable.
- After becoming Springtrap, he became eager to kill Michael and envisioned his son's gradual suffering before killing him. His bloodlust ends up leading to his demise on being set on fire by Michael (though this also killed him in the process as well).
- He also cowardly begs Michael to unlock the doors of Fazbear's Fright before he is set on fire wich led to William's well-deserved death.
