Zeus is a supporting antagonist in the 2017 DuckTales reboot.
He is the God of thunder who stopped getting worshipped because Scrooge bested him.
He is the father of Selene and Storkules .
What Makes Him A Hate Sink?[]
In General[]
- He is very rude, selfish and egotistical.
- He doesn't even genuinely love his own children .
- Unlike most antagonists who either have Evil is Cool moments or too many comedic moments to be Hate Sinks he fits the bill because although he's treated like a joke it's a pathetic joke rather than a endearing one.
- He has a bitter rivalry with Scrooge and hates him to an extreme extent although Flintheart Glomgold is similar he has redeeming qualities that Zeus does not possess.
- He's a glory hound since all he cares about is people worshipping him.
- Until season 3 he's a Karma Houdini.
Season 1[]
- He wanted to best Scrooge all for winning the glory years ago.
- It is revealed he caused a thunder storm that made everyone leave Ithaquack and he could've killed people.
- When he finally beat Scrooge at a game he bragged even though Scrooge just let him win because of how annoyed he was with him.
- When Scrooge and his family tried to leave he trapped them and most likely tried to kill them.
Season 2[]
- He sent Storkules to Duckburg to become a responsible adult and it wasn't out of genuine love but only to get him out of his hair.
- In "Moonvaison" he's revealed to be a total coward as he didn't care about the billions of lives that were at stake since he didn't let his children help Duckburg and later he zapped Storkules for no reason.
Season 3[]
- It's revealed that he became a full on villain for no told reason and was demoted from his God status.
- It's revealed that he placed his own brother Hades in charge of keeping the Titans at bay which deeply annoyed him but Zeus did not care at all.
- He asked Hades to unleash a Titan so he could save people from it but he only wanted to do it for glory and he put Scrooge and his family in danger .
- In the end he got his karma finally and died.
